I personally recommend you to play the valk guards tesla variation because the classic version is not good at all. I use log bait, and it has been in a really good position after things like the EQ nerf. Yes, it always was, and always stay meta. Tesla/cannon feels like a guaranteed loss vs any good Lava Hound players. Inferno is prob the best as it makes Golem/LH matchups much much easier. Most logbait decks run a tower as the last card. Don't really like Dart Goblin as Princess is better and both seems redundant. E-spirit is so so good for 1 elixir in almost every match. Knight is inferior to Valk due to the presence of Skeleton King and swarms in general (drill/army etc). Guards is ridiculously strong on defense and doesn't die to preemptive logs from opponents. Guards + Valk + E-spirit is the most beginner friendly variant that is flexible in almost any situations. These 4 cards are what you should be focusing on (especially barrel + log), you make your match 10x harder if your barrel dies to zap.įor the "flex" spots. Princess + Log + Rocket is omnipresent in 95% of logbait decks. To add to this, if OP wants to level just one deck, here are my recommendations as I play almost every variant of logbait every season.
